Boat tours to Dişlice and Kamelya islands

From Selimiye you can take a day boat trip to the nearby coves and the islands, as is the case from Orhaniye. The first stop is Kamelya Island, reached after sailing 45 minutes. On the shore you have a monastery that you can easily climb up to. The mosaic floors of the monastery were made of black, grey and white coloured sea stones.

Another popular stopping point is Dişlice Island, which is also a destination for the boats that leave from Orhaniye. The island, which is just opposite the Robinson Club Maris Hotel, is like a monument made of volcanic rocks. The rocks have so many holes and points sticking out that the island was known to be a perfect shelter for lovers who wanted to hide out, and indeed was called Lovers’ Island as well. The side of the island that faces Bencik Cove has many small beaches.
