The Marketplaces

Although every part of Marmaris is a marketplace or a bazaar, for those who seek a village market the weekly bazaar is on every Friday in the area where the old bus station was. In İçmeler, the weekly market is on Wednesdays and in Beldibi on Sundays.

In these markets you get the famous pine honey of Marmaris, handmade rug and carpets, all types of spices and healing herbs, souvenirs and gifts. Everyday in İçmeler there is also the open street market, with stalls offering everything from works of art to shoes and clothing.
