| The Gökçukur high plateau is at an elevation of 1,700 metres. The plateau is fully blanketed with forests and there is accommodation in huts owned by the Forestry Management Authority. The plateau is five kilometres from Menteşe and 15 kilometres to Kavaklıdere. The Yerküpü high plateau is the most popular of the region with visitors. | |||
