Ilıca Bükü-Cennet koyu |
|||
|
Between Göltürkbükü and Torba stretches the Ilıca Bükü. It is a cove between Çomça and Gök Points, and once upon a time it was surrounded by tall pine trees and its sea is very clean. That is why the Bodrum people named the beautiful cove Cennet (Heaven) Cove. Sadly, it has lost its old beauty, firstly due to a fire and then the advent of fish farms. Despite that yachts and boats coming from the sea still like this cove and have a swimming break in the area. Another cove on the way to Torba is known as Demir (Steel) Point. It is a cove sheltered from the winds. By the seaside there are houses with palm trees and a quay. |
